Hudson, New York — If you close your eyes and press play on “Took a Ride”, you’ll hear more than a song. You’ll hear a man coming to terms with time, change, and the pulse of his own history. You’ll hear the rustle of childhood summer grass. The hum of highway wheels. The faint ache of growing up and growing away.
This is Sean Delaney, the artist, the craftsman, and now the architect of a new genre he calls American Flòwk — a sonic hybrid stitching hip-hop’s truth-telling with folk’s heart and country’s dusty resilience. His latest single, “Took a Ride” (released August 8, 2025 under Rush Entertainment, managed by Melissa McKinney), is the first official mile marker of that movement.
